  • Indicative Total Remuneration: $32.98 - $40.26 per hour +25% casual loading - AHP1 - $42.50 - $49.24 per hour + 25% casual loading - AHP2 - Casual Pool (up to 29/1/2021) 


Applying your clinical experience, increasing clinical knowledge and professional competence, you will plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive and integrated psychology services to meet the needs of consumers. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and liaise directly with medical, nursing, allied health staff, community mental health teams, NALHN and with other private providers and community agencies. Ensuring documentation is consistent with service policy and practice, you will undertake comprehensive discharge planning in conjunction with other team members. Working under limited direct clinical supervision, you may provide direction and support to less experienced staff, allied health assistants and students. SA Health is committed to policy development, facilities planning and advancing Mental Health Reform throughout the State and the community. The mental health system is focused on improving service integration, governance, population based services, consumer and carer engagement, and recovery focused care.


You will hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia and general registration with the PsyBA. With demonstrated competency in the clinical management and treatment of a broad range of conditions, you will have sound knowledge of generic mental health and disciplinary specific assessment and treatment. Along with the time management skills needed to effectively manage a caseload, you will bring the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse range of people.
