Based in Barmera, the main focus of this role is the line management, coordination and leadership of nursing/midwifery and multidisciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of client care and outcomes. As a motivated and energetic individual who is able to demonstrate empathy and establish rapport with people from all walks of life, you will use your clinical knowledge and experience to provide the pivotal coordination of client care delivery in Aged Care. As a role model and mentor, you will develop and maintain a learning environment, taking a coaching approach to team development, individual capability development and performance development. Furthermore, you will contribute specific expertise to monitor and evaluate research activities in order to improve nursing or midwifery practice and service delivery.

Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate. You will bring notable post registration experience, reflecting demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and/or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards. A proven track record in management and leadership roles is essential, and you will have experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses and or midwives. Creative, innovative and flexible, you will have the ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential. A confident communicator, you will possess effective leadership qualities including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.
