Under the direct supervision of an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of occupational therapy services to the community in the Far Upper North Region of South Australia. To achieve this, you will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, and utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches. Working across a variety of healthcare settings, you will provide individual, group and population health services targeting at-risk and priority clients and groups within the community, in accordance with service eligibility and prioritisation criteria. Make a real difference and feel like an important part of the community. Being part of Flinders & Upper North LHN means you will be supported both personally and professionally, can take advantage of education and training opportunities, will have access to flexible working hours and be part of an inter-professional approach to holistic health care.

You must hold a recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession, and be eligible for full membership of the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. With experience in providing straightforward clinical occupational therapy services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities, you will be capable of maintaining your own caseload and ensuring the accurate documentation and reporting of assessments, review, referrals and update of own client files. You will be committed to applying client-centred practice and community engagement principles in the provision of services, ensuring clients are meaningfully involved in all aspects of their care.

The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time. Applicants are encouraged to discuss the flexible working arrangements for this role.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.
