The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine provides high quality medical services to patients of Flinders Medical Centre, and is responsible for the education of medical students and Trainee Medical Officers, as well as the conduct of research. Working as part of the multidisciplinary academic and clinical team, you will provide a high quality clinical service under the direction of the Head, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. This will involve providing appropriate clinical care to patients, coordinating follow-up care, and maintaining comprehensive clinical records which document significant patient management decisions. Ensuring effective communication with other care providers to promote continuity of patient care, you will see that patients and families are given adequate information upon which to base treatment decisions and follow-up care. Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, you will be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration. Demonstrating clinical experience and competence in the practice of medicine, you will possess high level skills in problem solving and decision making. You will be committed to providing a quality service to patients and their families, and to working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
