Please note that this position is multi-classified as either a AHP2 or RN2C.

Practising within a supportive team within a large regional health service in South Australia, this is a brilliant opportunity to join Whyalla Community Health as a Mental Health Clinician. This is a unique role where you will have the opportunity to work in collaboration with other health professionals, service providers and the community to support optimal consumer outcomes. You will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of evidenced based recovery oriented services as a Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or as a Registered Nurse. Under direct supervision of a senior clinician, you will apply your clinical experience, specialist clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services. In addition, you will contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, support workers and students.

For appointment at the AHP2 level, you must hold a recognised qualification within Social Work or Occupational Therapy and registered with the relevant Australian Board. With experience in providing a broad range of clinical services including one on one, group and health promotion activities, you will bring the ability to exercise professional judgement within prescribed areas.

For appointment at the RN2 level, you must be registered as a Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. You will have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and utilising your strengths, you will bring the ability to work in collaboration with other health professionals, service providers and the community.
