An exceptional opportunity is presented to work in an environment that allows the scope to work innovatively with clients throughout the Riverland and Mallee for their health and wellbeing. As part of a cohesive Community Health Team that supports, nurtures and extends career pathways, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services, appropriate to the needs of the local community. Utilising a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches, you will provide a high quality professional occupational therapy service to clients and carers. You will undertake complex assessments for clients to remain safely in their home, and conduct clinical and consultative assessments for equipment for clients. In addition, you will have fantastic time management for assessments to save bed days for clients to be discharged from hospital to home.            

You must hold a recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession, and be eligible for membership of the Occupational Therapy Board of South Australia. In addition, you must hold a current Australian VISA and AHPRA registration and bring demonstrated competence in contemporary in Allied Health Occupational Therapy. Past history will display experience in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating appropriate preventative strategies and community development approaches, which address the identified health needs of clients. Having worked in collaboration with various service providers within and outside of the organisation in assessing client needs, planning, implementing, coordinating appropriate service delivery options and promoting continuity and consistency of care, you will have excellent  communication skills for team environment.
