You will develop, implement and review injury management plans, programs and strategies which support the strategic priorities of the Southern Adelaide Health Network (SALHN) and align with SA Health and Well-being reform agenda. As Team Leader, you will implement, coordinate and lead the Injury Management Team outcomes and work flows to ensure forecast claims numbers expenditure targets are met. You will lead, mentor and enhance the expertise of the Injury Management Team to resolve claims and compensation related issues through grievance or dispute resolution, and continually develop early intervention employee support systems to facilitate prompt recovery and continuation of duty. As part of your role, you will produce Injury Management data reports, providing necessary information to Senior Management regarding appropriate interventions to resolve injury management issues and injury trends within the network. To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience and expertise in providing injury rehabilitation and return to work services for complex workers compensation claims for a large self- insurer. This will include the provision of expert advice for complex injury management matters to the regulator (Return to Work SA), SA Health, Solicitors, Senior Executive, Managers, Health professionals and a range of key stakeholders and staff across a large complex organisation. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills will equip you to build cohesive and high performing teams.
