As part of the Respiratory Medicine team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, you will contribute to the provision of expert sleep study reports. Editing and summarising recordings of overnight sleep studies, you will also assist with performing daytime Multiple Sleep Latency Tests. Ensuring that monitoring and therapeutic equipment is optimally implemented and recordings are interpreted to laboratory standards, you will assist with analysing studies, training staff and giving feedback, and preparing and maintaining procedures. As part of your role, you will also take responsibility for archiving studies, maintaining database quality and covering for the Laboratory Manger in their absence. The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) is a 311 bed, acute care teaching hospital that provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency and mental health services to a population of more than 250,000 people living primarily in Adelaide‚Äôs western suburbs. We provide high quality health services by means of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services using the most modern available methods of assessment and treatment in medical, surgical, mental health, allied health and other techniques.

Holding a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline, you will have proven experience in performing and analysing sleep studies. This will include skills in respiratory or neuro-physiological measurements and a high level of experience in computer applications. You will bring the ability to work independently and reliably with accuracy and attention to detail, and be capable of preparing and working with analytical equipment. Self-motivated and willing to provide support to others, you will possess good communication and people skills.
