Working in consultation with the senior managers of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) Children and Families Services, you will be responsible for the coordination and provision of high quality health services that are patient/family centred and maximise functional and health outcomes. Contributing to the delivery and management of the program’s effectiveness, you will ensure collection of agreed outcome measures and data sets including clinical outcome measures, client/carer satisfaction, length of stay within the service, and programme costs. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating effective multidisciplinary teamwork and communication for interdisciplinary cooperation and coordination of Children’s and Families Service activities. This position is strongly supported by the Allied Health management team, and we offer a well-resourced team with a commitment to provision of evidence based practice. With good access to funded professional development, our service provision is delivered in purpose-built paediatric clinics. The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) provides care for around 341,000 people living in the northern metropolitan area of Adelaide as well as providing a number of state-wide services, and services to those in regional areas. More than 3,800 skilled staff provide high quality patient care, education, research and health promoting services.

 

Holding a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant Allied Health discipline, you will experience in implementing service development and program evaluation. This will be evident in your ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and liaise with a range of community services. With experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures, you will demonstrate strong leadership, flexibility, and ability to manage variable workloads and competing priorities whilst adapting to changing service provision needs.
