As part of the multidisciplinary community health team based in Wallaroo, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive range of physiotherapy services to eligible clients and in accordance with team and service priorities. You will manage a varied case load including paediatrics, outpatients and inpatients, and utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches. You will support clients to navigate the service system, providing effective assessment and triage, timely referrals, accurate information, coordinated care and prompt follow-up. You may also contribute to the review, development and adaptation of clinical and administrative resources to support physiotherapy and Community Health and Healthy Family services. You will need to hold a recognised qualification within the Physiotherapy profession, and be eligible for practicing membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. With experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be capable of working independently and prioritising referrals and workload. Displaying a commitment to providing client-centred care, you will apply community engagement principles in the provision of services, ensuring clients are meaningfully involved in all aspects of their care.
