Utilising your clinical knowledge and professional competence in mental health care, you will plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of evidence-based and recovery-oriented services across the multi-disciplinary Country Health SA Local Health Network Mental Health Service (CHSALHN MHS). Working as a member of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality consumer-centred care, you will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, therapeutic and evaluative approaches, including individual and family therapeutic approaches, group programs, health promotion and community development programs. Working across community, acute and rehabilitation service settings, you will provide advocacy and liaise with health professionals and health providers from other sectors to support consumer outcomes. Working under limited clinical direction, you may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced mental health professionals, support workers and students. Join us and you will get to be part of our ongoing approach to transforming mental healthcare. With proven experience in the delivery on mental health care to consumers, you will demonstrate skills in holistic assessment, treatment, prevention, education, and early intervention strategies. You will work well within a multidisciplinary team and be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a mental health setting. Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills will be essential, along with the ability to prioritise workloads.
