This position offers the brilliant opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive health environment as part of a cohesive and dedicated team. As a constructive team member, you will contribute to the efficiency of the Medical Directorate's administrative support functions by undertaking secretarial, reception and Ward Clerk duties. The core focus of your role will involve word processing, data entry, records management and general clerical functions to both administrative and multidisciplinary teams. Reliable, well presented with a positive attitude to tackle challenging situations, you will deal with a diverse client base, both internal and external, within a dynamic and changing health sector environment. Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, you will use initiative and judgement when dealing with a broad range of clients and administrative tasks. 

Capable of working cohesively within a multidisciplinary team environment, you will have highly developed organisation skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. With a solid background working within a hospital or health related environment, you will bring proven competence in using databases, word processing, data entry and spreadsheets combined with the ability to carry out a wide range of administrative duties. Flexible and able to adapt to varied tasks and requests as needed, you will bring a successful background providing a high level of effective customer service. Your demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with a wide range of people, and exercise empathy tact, confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive matters will be critical to your appointment in this role.
