On offer is an outstanding opportunity to join an integrated multidisciplinary team at Flinders Medical Centre. The role of Obstetrics and Gynaecology DRANZCOG RMO / Registrar is suited for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Rural and Remote GP Trainee who has already obtained the DRANZCOG and wishes to progress to DRANZCOG Advanced. In this key position, you will provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to patients of Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga Health Services both in terms of individual performance and by contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care. You will coordinate the follow up care of patients, as well as ensure the maintenance of comprehensive clinical records which document significant patient management decisions. In addition, you will be actively involved in teaching and supervision of medical and midwifery students and junior medical staff, as well as conduct research.

You must have full registration with the Medical Board of Australia and undertaking a RANZCOG endorsed training program. Your excellent interpersonal skills will be demonstrated through your ability to work effectively as a member of a team and communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff. With clinical skills appropriate to the level of training, you will have the examination requirements for the DRANZCOG. Bringing to the table sound knowledge of research principles, you will have the proven ability to participate in continuing medical education activities.
