Contributes to the optimization of outcomes for patients by implementing strategies to achieve the best possible quality use of pharmaceuticals in a safe and cost-effective manner.   Provides a comprehensive high-level range of pharmacy services, exercising independent and autonomous judgement,  with responsibility for participating in organisation, management and operation of services within the cancer chemotherapy project.   Working in collaboration with departmental, pharmacy, medical and nursing staff to ensure provision of the complete information to enable safe and accurate pharmaceutical care in cancer chemotherapy in accordance with hospital and divisional policies and procedures and professional standards and guidelines relating to pharmacy practice .
