An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual who will have an action-oriented and proactive approach and thrive on the challenge of contributing to the delivery of direct expert nursing care for patients in community health. In this key role, you will enjoy the flexibility of a casual role, exceptional opportunities for individual professional development and gain a broad range of experience and skills. You will work as an Enrolled Nurse to provide safe person centred nursing care in a variety of settings. Within a great team atmosphere, you will implement appropriate nursing care and undertake or assist with general and specialised procedures from Nursing/Midwifery care plans. Planning and prioritising own work program to achieve defined outcomes, you will exercise judgment when it is required to solve problems arising in your own work. In addition, you will provide education to patients, families and carers.

Enrolled as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. Critical to your appointment in this role is experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. You will possess a detailed knowledge and understanding of the role of the Enrolled Nurse within the health care setting, and demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal. Able to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team environment, you will bring excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to timelines.
